OUR PURPOSE
This ministry exists because we know that the message of Jesus Christ has the power to change the lives of youth . . .
From hurting youth, to healed youth.
From sad youth, to joyful youth.
From guilt to freedom.
From aloneness to community.
From isolation to acceptance.
From hatred to love.
From lost to found.
Jesus cares infinitely about each one of us and we want to share that love with students.
VISION
The vision of our Youth Ministry is to guide students into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
MISSION
We will guide students to be R.E.A.L.
This is the fundamental place where we learn what it means to be REAL. We accept everyone in the group and have a base of friendships from which we gain the confidence to Reach out to other friends. We grow in knowledge and acquire the skills needed to become Engaged in ministry. We live out Authentic relationships within the group where we are honest, open and accepting. And finally, we grow to Love God with every part of our being.
WHY COME?
Come because it is finally church for YOUTH! Our goal is to do church in a way that students today would want church done. At the same time we do not water down the message of Jesus Christ. We challenge you to take the next step in your journey no matter what stage you are at; from the long time Christ follower, to the person who has never heard of Jesus.
WHO CAN COME?
Anyone from grades 6 - 12!!!
Junior High
- Fish Creek Campus - Sunday Mornings - 10:40am Service - go to Theatre 4 right after worship!
- Both Campuses - Friday Night at 7:00pm @ the SunWest Ministry Centre
Senior High
- Both Fish Creek and McKenzie Campus Senior High Youth meet
on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm at the SunWest Ministry Centre.
