SunWest Food Bank - Our own food bank meets the immediate needs in our church and in our community. Dry goods are collected at each weekend service by placing items in the red wagon next to the offering table. Neighbourhood Link - Calls from the general population for food aid and other physical support on behalf of many Calgary churches are handled by this mission group. After a screening process they pass on the required needs to us, if they are in our area. We deliver food hampers, drive the sick and offer other practical assistance. Interested in helping? Bannister Road Complex - SunWest provides practical aid and assists with programs at this low income housing development. To be a part of this mission contact the SunWest Ministry Centre.
Mustard Seed - Teams are formed to prepare and serve lunches or dinners at this downtown homeless shelter. Contact Grant Huston for more information.
Emmanuel Foundation - We support this foundation by helping the hands and heart necessary to install playground facilities in third world countries. For more information contact Grant Huston.
Alberta Conference of Mennonite Brethren - We fund our own denomination so they can help other new church plants in Alberta, as well as contribute to many other necessary tasks. Check out their website!
