And were back… We’ve missed you over the summer and we’re ready to kick off another amazing year at SWYM. Tonight we’ve got a BBQ, inflatables, 9 square, gaga ball, prizes, an outdoor movie and so much more. This is going to be one wild party, spread the word and bring all your friends!
Part two of our kick off month! We’ve rented out all of McMahon Stadium with a few other churches from South Calgary for a night to remember! We’ve got games, prizes, DJ, dance parties and more. It’s going to be unreal!!! Spread the word and bring everyone you know! Keep posted for more info as we are still planning this amazing event.

We would like to recognize our grade 12 graduates and celebrate their great accomplishment of leaving high school and moving on to bigger things. Come out for an evening of celebrating you and spending time with your small groups together before youth is over.

WHAT TO BRING: Either you grad dress or your suit to take some photos together. Please also bring a change of clothes for a fire after, your swim suit and anything else you think you might need.
The grade 12 leaders have been looking forward to enjoying this event with their students and have planned it just for them, so we hope to see you there!

Grade 9 girls: Picnic and fire in fish creek at 7pm! Meet at Hull’s wood, near Annie’s cafe and the fire pits. Bring a snack item to share!
Grade 9 boys: NO SMALL GROUP TONIGHT! instead, be at lunch with your leaders on Sunday (June 9th) after church.
Grade 10/11/12 girls: Meet at Jo’s house (250 200 Midland Pl SE) for a fire at 7pm. Bring your favourite cereal!
Grade 10/11 boys: Meet at the boschman’s house (67 Woodmont Crescent SW) at 7pm!
Grade 12 boys: Meet at Colin’s house (119 Mount Aberdeen Manor SE) at 7pm!
Our Gathering Nights are a time to have fun with friends, play games, worship God, and talk about life in Small Groups. Night ends down the street at Midnapore McDonalds. Camp Chestermere is coming to run games, worship, and bring the word. You don’t want to miss it!
We don’t do life alone! We believe that life is better together. This week we are having our small groups at the church. This is your last time to compete as a small group to win the pizza party at the end of the year. We’ve got some epic games planed for this one, be prepared to get a little dirty.
We’ve got a massive party coming up!!!! We’re having our annual Late Nighter Event which runs from 6pm-12am!!! We’re going swimming, bowling, and going to canyon meadows movie theatre to end the night off watching a movie and eating pizza. Jr High and Sr High will be separate for most of the night, but we will come together at the movie theatre. This is an epic night so invite all your friend!!!
Drop off will be at the church, but pick up will be at Canyon Meadows Movie Theatre (bus drivers need sleep too lol).

You’re all year waiver if you haven’t filled one out yet, they can be found on the youth page.
$25 to cover all the events and pizza, if you want more movie theatre snacks you’ll need to bring some more cash.

This Spring, travel ‘round the world and back again with Juno Award-winning singer/songwriter Dan Bremnes as he touches down in Canada for the “Wherever I Go” Tour, hitting 20+ cities across Canada. Supporting Dan Bremnes are Juno Award-winning band, The Color.

We’re kicking off the new year with a Lake Night!!! Sledding, Skating, Hockey, Hot Chocolate, and more… The event is happening at Midnapore Lake from 7:30-9:30pm, note the later start.

Hey Everyone, It's time for our annual Sr. High youth retreat. This year we are headed to SABC for an impactful weekend to connect, play games, get lots of sleep ;), relax, worship, and learn about the life changing impact Jesus made, and is making. Everyone is welcome, you don't need to be a regular SWYM attender to participate in this weekend, bring your friends!!!!
Cost: $125 for the entire weekend of activities!
Transportation: We’ll be taking a bus to and from SABC
We're heading to Cobb's Corn Maze!!! Corn Maze, Slides, Puzzles, Mini Golf, Archery Tag, Food Truck, and more. Drop off and pick up are at the church. The whole event only costs $20 plus some cash if you want some food. Don't forget your All Year Waiver, if you haven't filled one out yet there will be some available at the door.
